Pavel Demidov is a Director, Lecturer at the Department of Musical Theater Direction at the Saint Petersburg State Conservatoire.
Pavel graduated with distinction from the State Conservatoire with a degree in musical theater directing (class of the Honoured Artist of Russia – Olga Mukhortova). During his studies, he was awarded with the Governmental scholarship.
Since 2014, he is an Assistant Director in the theatre performances of the Conservatoire. From 2016 to 2018, he worked at Elena Obraztsova’s International Academy of Music as a Teacher. Since 2017, he has been a stage director and actor at the Aleko Theater.
Within the framework of the International Festival of Arts ‘Elena’ (Artistic Director – Ildar Abdrazakov) in different years staged the performances: ‘Don Giovanni’ by W. Mozart (conducted by F. Mastrangelo) in the Armorial Hall of the State Hermitage Museum, ‘La Boheme’ by G. Puccini (conducted by N. Paskevich) in the Music Hall Theater ‘Mavra’ by I. F. Stravinsky, ‘Pagliacci’ by R Leoncavallo (conducted by M. Golikov) at the Musical Comedy Theater.
In 2019, directed the International Festival ‘Setubal Cantofest’ (Portugal). He has also collaborated with the Baltic House Theater Festival. He is the director of the productions Fiddler on the Roof and Eight Loving Women (staged by Lev Rakhlin).
Since 2020, she has been working as a Lecturer at the Department of Musical Theater Direction.
