Lyubov Dzhikiya, Professor of the Costume Design Department of Saint Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design, Artistic Director of the International Festival of Fashion, Art, and Design ‘Admiralty Needle’.

Lubov has extensive practical experience as a designer of the author’s workshop and develops collections of women’s and men’s clothing, as well as costumes for entertainers and circus artists, dance duets and musical groups, costumes for leading international fetivals, including: Tsarskoselsky Festival and Carnival in the United Arab Emirates.

She has vast experience in the fashion industry, including as an Art Director of creative projects, chairperson and jury member of fashion shows and exhibitions in Russia, Hungary, Italy, China and other countries. She is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia. Her creative works have been honoured with numerous Russian and international awards, including: Laureate Diploma of the XV International Festival of Arts ‘Master Class’ for her contribution to the national culture; Laureate Diploma of the international exhibition ‘GARDEROBE 2008’; Laureate Diploma in the nomination ‘Art Nouveau Collection’ at the international exhibition ‘Fashion Time’ and others.

In addition, Lyubov is a laureate of the Saint Petersburg Government Award for outstanding achievements in higher education and secondary vocational education, as well as the holder of the international certificate of the program ‘HIGH FASHION ITALY’ (Milan, 2023) and certificates of project manager of the international fashion week ‘BUNKA FASHION WEEK’ (Milan, 2023) and certificates of project manager of the international fashion week ‘BUNKA FASHION WEEK’.

Lyubov works with young designers and fashion designers, regularly conducts master classes and lectures on costume design and fashion project management for Russian and foreign students and teachers. Among her graduates are more than 300 winners and diploma holders of various international and all-Russian competitions, exhibitions, and festivals.

Lyubov takes part in scientific conferences, seminars, and symposiums to popularize and develop higher and secondary professional education in the field of culture and art.
