The end of the academic year is a time for students and teachers to summarize the results. In our project, yesterday’s Gala Concert was the final work of the students of ‘OPERA & PODIUM’ project. Mentors and experts evaluated the students’ works in different ways, but during the project discussion the best works of the 2022-2023 season were determined:
In the category ‘Theatrical Graphics’ the best were the works of the students of the Costume Design Institute of Saint Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design:
In the category ‘Direction of musical theater’ the best director is a student of the vocal-directing faculty of the Saint Petersburg State Conservatoire named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov for staging scenes from the opera ‘Sadko’:
In the category ‘Multimedia scenery’ the best designers are students of the Institute of Information Technologies and Automation of SPbSUITD who made video content for the opera ‘Queen of Spades’ by P.I. Tchaikovsky:
In the category ‘Costume Design’ the costume of Guillot from Tchaikovsky’s opera ‘Eugene Onegin’ made by a student of the Costume Design Institute of SPbSUITD:
In the category ‘Solo Singing’ the best is a student of the vocal-directing faculty of the Saint Petersburg Conservatoire who performed the part of Snow Maiden from the opera of N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov:
And finally, the best staging of the project ‘Opera & Podium’ is a scene from the Tchaikovsky’s opera ‘Eugene Onegin’.
