

Today, as part of OPERA & PODIUM project, the PromTechDesign Boiling Point hosted a creative meeting with Professor Alexei Kurbanovsky from Saint Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire, PhD, Chief Researcher at the State Russian Museum.
The presenter in his engaging manner introduced the audience to the artistic images of Russian painting and drawing of the Silver Age pointing out the idea of the synthesis of arts. The theme of the meeting is deeply connected to the central idea of the project, in which cooperation and collaboration between artists, designers, musicians, and theatre directors is meant to create a vivid and unusual artistic effect.
In addition to the project participants – students, mentors, and academic staff, the meeting was attended by leading artists, executives of ‘Onegin National Opera Award’, including Vladimir Tulpanov, its Vice-President and the director of ‘Saint Petersburg Meetings’ programme on the Russian TV channel.
At the end of the meeting, the speaker answered the questions. The most interesting question was awarded a special prize – a book ‘The Predatory Eye’ written by the Professor.
